As I wrote about in Front Row Seat at the Circus, former GOP and Libertarian presidential candidate Ron Paul has zero respect for Donald Trump.

In 2012, in fact, Paul said about Trump:  “I don’t think he has that much credibility. I’m the only candidate that didn’t kiss his ring. I don’t understand why people pay any attention to him.” Later, Paul called Trump a “dangerous authoritarian on a power trip.”

So it should be no surprise that Paul told CNN today that if the November matchup is between Trump and Hillary Clinton he won’t vote for either.

“What I’d like to have on all of the ballots is ‘none of the above. I’m not going to vote for those two for sure, they’re too close together.'”

Meanwhile his son Rand, who dropped out of the presidential race earlier this year, plans a “major announcement” for tomorrow.
