My 3 Democratic Debate Takes

1) Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders
both won. This is a battle of organization in Iowa and New Hampshire and
they energized their own supporters. Clinton did score points, however,
with the African American voters in the key state of South Carolina.

2) Clinton is vulnerable on her Wall Street connections in the primary.
But it’s not an issue after she is the nominee. Sanders, however, faces
a big problem in early primaries for his pro-NRA votes.

3) Sanders looking for a primary opponent against Obama in ’12 is new
information. And not good for him behind-the-scenes at the White House.

Bonus 4) Martin O’Malley will not be on another debate stage this year.
