A former child star of the 1970’s turned fellow reality TV guy has become yet the latest celebrity to endorse Donald Trump.

“It’s very simple,” Scott Baio told Fox News, “Because when he speaks I understand him. He speaks like I speak.”

Before his own reality show, Baio played Chachi, the Fonz’s cousin, on the 1970’s hit comedy Happy Days. He was also the star of Charles in Charge.

For his part, Trump spent eight years as the host of the NBC reality show The Apprentice. He also has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

New England Patriot Quarterback Tom Brady also gushes when mentioning Trump. “Donald is a good friend of mine,” said Brady. “I have known him for a long time. I support all my friends. He’s always been so supportive of me. For the last 15 years, since I judged a beauty pageant for him, which was one of the very first things that I did that I thought was really cool that came along with winning the Super Bowl. He’s always invited me to play golf and I’ve always enjoyed his company. I support all my friends in everything they do.”

Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty calls Trump “a real leader.”

Actor Jon Voight added, “I pray all Americans who have seen and felt the meltdown of America with the Obama years, to please fight for Donald Trump.”

Others celebrities and sports stars on board the Trump train are: Kirstie Alley, Stephen Baldwin, Azealia Banks, Gary Busey, Aaron Carter, John Daly, Johnny Damon, Robert Davi, Mike Ditka, Lou Ferrigno, Hulk Hogan, Holly Holm, Jesse James, Bob Knight, Jerry Lewis, Loretta Lynn, Anthony Mackie, Omarosa Manigault, Ryan Newman, Wayne Newton, Ted Nugent, Paul O’Neill, Tito Ortiz, Terrell Owens, Kid Rock, John Rocker, Dennis Rodman, Kenny Rogers, Charlie Sheen, Tila Tequila, Mike Tyson and Herschel Walker.

Scott Baio is latest celebrity to back Trump

Aissa Wayne, daughter of movie icon John Wayne, says her father would have backed Trump if he were alive. “America needs help, and we need a strong leader, and we need someone like Mr. Trump with leadership qualities, someone with courage, someone who is strong like John Wayne,” she said.

Baio had previously backed Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, but now insists he’s left the Republican party and become a “conservative Independent.”
