Illinois, the home to our first Republican President Abraham Lincoln, is on the verge of handing Donald Trump a big win Tuesday night.
In a new NBC News poll, Trump has 34% of likely GOP primary voters. Ted Cruz has 25%, John Kasich 21% and Marco Rubio 16%.
Trump is showing signs of dominating in the Midwest. He has won Michigan, leads in Illinois and is in a statistical dead heat with Kasich in his home state of Ohio.
