As I wrote here a couple of weeks ago, Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski should apologize to the reporter he grabbed and then everyone can move on.
Why that apology has not been forthcoming is beyond me.
Politico has learned Lewandowski will not be prosecuted for battery after a March run-in with former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields.
That doesn’t mean Lewandowski didn’t grab her arm and bruise it. And it doesn’t mean he shouldn’t apologize like a civilized person.
There is something about the Trump campaign that encourages, and then rewards, bully behavior.
Prosecution? Maybe not. Apology? Long overdue.
