If Donald Trump arrives in Cleveland with the most delegates, but doesn’t win the Republican nomination, sixty-three percent of his supporters nationwide say he should dump the GOP and run third party.

That’s according to a new CBS News poll which also shows a third of Trump Republican primary voters back an Independent bid if he is denied the nomination.

Trump has a double digit lead over Ted Cruz with 42 percent of Republican primary voters nationally. Cruz has 29 percent and John Kasich just 18 percent.

More importantly, Trump leads among all key GOP groups: Men, women, Republicans, independents, white evangelicals and non-college graduates.
