One of the most respected, and popular, conservatives in the country, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, has called on embattled Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to drop out of the race.

“Enough! Donald Trump should not be President,” wrote Rice on her Facebook page. “He should withdraw.”

Rice joined Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. John McCain and dozens of other noted Republicans in announcing they would not be voting for the GOP nominee after Trump was heard on a tape making crude and vulgar statements about women.

“As a Republican, I hope to support someone who has the dignity and stature to run for the highest office in the greatest democracy on earth,” wrote Rice.

The former Secretary of State was floated as a possible running-mate for Trump prior to the Republican National Convention, but she quickly said she was not interested.
