It’s been quite remarkable this month watching all of major newspapers with conservative editorial boards — from Salt Lake City to Omaha to Columbus to Houston to Dallas to Cincinnati to San Diego to Phoenix to Birmingham — endorse Hillary Clinton, and not Donald Trump, for president.
But there has been one newspaper squarely on Trump’s side all year. And now, with just 19 days to go until the election, the leading gossip paper National Enquirer, is going all in to grab the attention of any remaining undecided voters who are standing in grocery checkout lines.
The new issue of the Enquirer is like a “greatest hits” attack on Clinton. Headlined “Hillary Hitman Tells All” everything ever rumored about her, and some new things, are in one jam packed issue.
The source for all of this is one anonymous “former Clinton operative” who reveals:
- Clinton is a lesbian: “I arranged a meeting for Hillary and a woman in an exclusive Beverly Hills hotel.”
- Clinton is a straight adulterer: “I helped her cover up her affair with married Vince Foster.”
- Clinton is an enabler: “Hillary secretly plotted to counter-attack Monica Lewinsky.”
- Clinton controls the liberal media: “There were crooked reporters on the take for her.”
- Bonus: Clinton paid hush money to hookers and her husband Bill had yet another affair with a famous Hollywood actress.
Whew.
This issue could become the bible for Hillary Clinton haters to quote from for the next 19 days.
Of course, the Enquirer also predicted this a year ago:

Trump often condemns the media and political reporters at his campaign events, but he has a special place in his heart for the Enquirer, asking back in June why it has not won a Pulitzer Prize.
Trump is best friends with Enquirer CEO David Pecker, which may explain why the Enquirer has claimed in recent months that Clinton is suffering from strokes, brain cancer, depression, alcoholism, multiple sclerosis, endometriosis, and paranoia. That’s before the tales of the “hitman” came along.

The Clinton campaign has not said whether it has complained to grocery stores and other businesses about these blatantly false covers which amount to free advertising for The Donald.
