In the middle of a downpour and low visibility, Vice presidential candidate Mike Pence’s campaign plane slid off the runway after landing at LaGuardia Airport.
Pence was checked to make sure he was OK, there were no injuries.
LaGuardia Airport’s automated weather broadcast says the airport is closed until further notice due to poor visibility amid the rain.
Pence told reporters on board the plane that he knew something was amiss when he saw mud splattered all over his window.
Alex Jones, the noted conservative conspiracy theorist, has not yet accused the Clinton campaign of causing the accident.
