“You are either with us or against us.”
That’s the word from former House Speaker Newt Gingrich who is one of only a few establishment Republicans who have backed Donald Trump’s bid for the White House.
If you’re a Republican, the time is now. Which side are you on? What kind of Republican are you?
The new “Trump Republican” represented by the billionaire reality TV host, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani and Gingrich. Or the “Establishment Republican” represented by Mitt Romney, John McCain, Condoleezza Rice, the Bush’s and over 100 other notable GOP names, plus every conservative editorial board at major newspapers across the country.
The very soul of the party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Reagan is at stake. And Trump is determined to trash any Republican who now opposes him.
Today he has made that perfectly clear in another Twitter rampage:
Despite winning the second debate in a landslide (every poll), it is hard to do well when Paul Ryan and others give zero support!

Our very weak and ineffective leader, Paul Ryan, had a bad conference call where his members went wild at his disloyalty.

It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to.

With the exception of cheating Bernie out of the nom the Dems have always proven to be far more loyal to each other than the Republicans!

Disloyal R’s are far more difficult than Crooked Hillary. They come at you from all sides. They don’t know how to win – I will teach them!

The very foul mouthed Sen. John McCain begged for my support during his primary (I gave, he won), then dropped me over locker room remarks!

Texas-based political consultant Matt Mackowiak said, “The GOP has a suicide bomber as their nominee.”
Trump has no doubt seen his own internal polling which shows he’s likely to lose, but he is grabbing the elephant by the trunk and taking it down with him. As Abraham Lincoln once said, “a house divided against itself cannot stand.” Trump is going to leave the Republican Party in pieces.
The day after the election there will be angry “Trump Republicans” and relieved “Establishment Republicans.” But their war won’t be over. It’s just beginning. While Hillary Clinton governs, these two groups will eat each other alive in bitter primaries across the country.
That will keep Trump’s name in the news for years. Which has probably been his personal goal all along.
