Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh did what every Republican under fire does: Appear on Fox News.

In a tearful interview today the embattled Kavanaugh said he is “not going anywhere” as two allegations of sexual misconduct roil his path to the high court.

“I’m not going to let false accusations drive us out of this process,” Kavanaugh said, sitting beside his wife as she nods. “We’re looking for a fair process where I can be heard, defending my integrity, my lifelong record … of promoting dignity and equality for women, starting with the women who knew me when I was 14 years old.”

“I’m not going anywhere,” he added with emotion.

The Supreme Court nominee is facing accusations from two women, both of whom claim Kavanaugh violated them sexually while intoxicated at house parties. He has forcefully denied both accusations.

Christine Blasey Ford is alleging Kavanaugh pinned her down and groped her over her clothes during a high school party in 1982, while Deborah Ramirez claims he exposed himself without her consent during a gathering at Yale University in the early 1980s.

Attorney Michael Avenatti is claiming he has evidence that Kavanaugh participated in gang rape and drug parties.

The senate plans to hear from Kavanaugh and Ford on Thursday.
