As if getting pummeled by Michigan in a Big Ten game wasn’t bad enough, Nebraska got some serious shade thrown its way by a fast food restaurant on Saturday.
With the Huskers well behind the Wolverines during in the fourth quarter, Wendy’s – yes Wendy’s – delivered a well-timed zinger to the Nebraska faithful, singling out coach Scott Frost:
Yikes!
The eventual 56-10 loss to Michigan dropped Nebraska to 0-3. It’s the first time since 1945 the Cornhuskers have lost three consecutive games to start the season.
Frost, in his first year at the helm after a successful stint at Central Florida, was quoted this week as saying about his program, “this could get worse before it gets better.”
Wendy’s, we should point out, is based in Columbus, Ohio, home of the mighty Ohio State Buckeyes who beat Tulane today 49-6.
