The odds on MyBookie now are dead even on Republicans maintaining hold of their majority, even as political forecaster Nate Silver says there is an 86 percent chance of a Democratic victory.
As of today, the odds of the GOP keeping the House are at -120. That’s identical for Democrats.
Just two days ago, Republicans were actually favored.
The site also has the Florida senate race, between Bill Nelson and Rick Scott, dead even at -120.
Gamblers, however, prefer Democrats: Sherrod Brown in Ohio, Joe Donnelly in Indiana, Debbie Stabenow in Michigan, Bob Menendez in New Jersey, and Jon Tester in Wyoming. Republicans: Martha McSally in Arizona, Josh Hawley in Missouri, Dean Heller in Nevada, Kevin Cramer in North Dakota, and Ted Cruz in Texas.
Looking way down the road, Republicans are favored to hold the White House in the 2020 presidential election.
The GOP is at -170 in that race, compared to +130 for the Democrats.
