Liberal billionaire George Soros has been a boogeyman for conservatives since he spent millions to oppose President George W. Bush’s reelection in 2004.

Ironically, Donald Trump also opposed Bush’s reelection, saying, “I just thought that guy was a dimwit. You looked at it, and he just didn’t look like he was all there.”

So Soros and Trump agreed on Bush? Go figure.

That hasn’t stopped the right-wing from blaming Soros for just about everything they don’t like in America the last 15 years, including the migrant caravan currently traveling through Mexico (which is bunk).

With all that hate coming his way, it’s probably not surprising that someone left a pipe-bomb-like device loaded with black powder at his suburban New York City home.

The FBI says the device was no hoax, and they are investigating who would want to harm the philanthropist and political activist.

That’s going to be a very long list.

The FBI detonated the device near Soros’ home in Katonah, New York, and were analyzing the parts to determine whether the bomb was built to go off.

Soros has become a favorite target of right-wing groups due to his support of progressive causes and Democratic candidates, but authorities have not commented on whether any specific group is being investigated in regard to the incident.

The bomb was found yesterday afternoon in the mailbox of Soros’ home by a property caretaker for the billionaire.

“An employee of the residence opened the package, revealing what appeared to be an explosive device,” said Bedford police, which sent officers to the residence, in a statement.

The caretaker placed the suspicious package in a wooded area and called the police, officials said.

Soros was not home at the time.
