The Buckeyes aren’t in a position to be taking anybody for granted. They learned their lesson three weeks ago at Purdue.
While they were pretty comfortable with their first four wins of the season, ever since a 27-26 win over Penn State this team has found itself in tighter contests than most expected.
In fact, the only blowout was Ohio State’s loss to Purdue.
So even if this is a Maryland team the Buckeyes should beat, they can’t be worrying about next week’s game against Michigan.
BUCKEYES GAMEDAY 11/17
LOCATION: Maryland Stadium – College Park
TIME: Noon EST

Ohio State still has an outside chance at a College Football Playoff berth if it can run the table.
Just seven days away from “The Game,” the Buckeyes have to beat up on the Terrapins.
For quarterback Dwayne Haskins, it’s a homecoming of sorts; the Potomac native once committed to Maryland before ultimately ending up at Ohio State.
For its part, the Maryland defense will be trying to slow down Haskins in his pursuit of several Ohio State passing records and help the Terps pull off their biggest upset to date under interim coach Matt Canada to become bowl-eligible.
Ohio State fans will continue to watch coach Urban Meyer closely, hoping he does not have another massive headache, like he last month against Indiana during the 4th Quarter.
