The first House Republican casualty of the 2018 midterms is Rep. Barbara Comstock, who loses reelection to Democratic nominee Jennifer Wexton.
Former FBI Director James Comey spent the day canvassing in Virginia for Wexton.
Comstock’s seat was seen as a must-win for Democrats as they fight to retake the House majority.
They need 23 seats to reclaim the majority.
