Anthony Scaramucci spent just 11 days as White House communications director, but that was still longer than he lasted on Celebrity Big Brother.

Scaramucci is now in Davos, Switzerland at his annual Skybridge wine tasting event.

During a panel discussion for a Skybridge business conference, Scaramucci told reporters he couldn’t say why he left CBB, but noted that his short time on the show was “a tremendous amount of fun.”

“There’s a lot of intellectuals that are like, ‘WTF, what’s he doing on Big Brother’ But you have to remember I grew up in a blue collar family so you have to remember that America watches these shows. You don’t want to unplug yourself totally from America.”

Here’s a clip of what he said about the show:

Scaramucci is up for eviction this week, but that live vote has not yet happened.

Scaramucci’s cast mates are now wondering on camera if “The Mooch” actually left on his own, or was part of a twist during the live feed following the January 22, 2019 episode.

None of his co-stars seemed to know what happened but some discussed it before the live feeds cut off.

They wondered if Scaramucci was a mole or cast member designed to sabotage the game.

“The Mooch’s” exit came on the same day a new book claims President Trump once said Scaramucci was “completely out of his mind.”

That’s one of the nuggets in Cliff Sims’ 384-page tell-all book “Team of Vipers,” which goes on sale next week.

Sims, who enjoyed uncommon personal access to Trump, recounts expletive-filled scenes of chaos, dysfunction and duplicity among the president, his family members and administration officials.

Perhaps the book’s most cinematic chapter of chaos is “The Mooch Is Loose,” a reconstruction of Anthony Scaramucci’s 11 days as White House communications director.

Sims was Scaramucci’s right-hand man and describes the flamboyant aide’s hunt for “leakers,” which began with his own staff. Scaramucci assembled the 40-odd media aides and threatened to fire them all, Sims writes, as if he were a “fire-breathing dragon that had just returned from laying waste to the unsuspecting peasants in the village.”

Sims writes that Scaramucci ordered them to reply to anyone in the White House instructing them to leak information to a reporter, including then-Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, by saying: “I cannot do that. I only report to Anthony Scaramucci and he reports directly to the president of the United States.”

Even Trump was amused.

“Can you believe this guy?” the president told Sims. “He’s completely out of his mind — like, on drugs or something — totally out of his mind. We’ll figure it out, but the guy is crazy.”
