Anthony Scaramucci, who notoriously served just 11 days as White House communications director, has signed on to appear in the second season of Celebrity Big Brother.
Seeing White House staffers regularly go on to D-list reality fame is just one more way the American people are being reminded: This presidency is like no other.
It’s difficult to even imagine former Obama administration officials finding fame on reality television like this.
Picture Valerie Jarrett duking it out with the women of the Real Housewives franchises, or former David Axelrod as a The Bachelor.
But this is the reality TV presidency, led by former The Apprentice host Donald Trump.
Scaramucci will compete alongside 11 other famous figures — including former Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, actor Joey Lawrence and Dina Lohan — in season 2 of the reality TV game show.
The show features 12 houseguests living together under nearly constant surveillance.
For Scaramucci’s part, he is now the second former Trump aide to join the CBS reality series.
Omarosa Manigault Newman starred in the show’s first season where she made headlines after revealing details about her time in the White House.
After her return to reality TV, she went on to write the explosive tell-all, Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.
Should we start taking bets now that KellyAnn Conway or Sean Spicer will be on the 3rd season?
In a promo today airing during CBS football, Scaramucci was pegged as the show’s “big surprise.”
