Donald Trump Jr. is getting roasted for a now-deleted Instagram message he posted that compared the proposed border wall to a zoo fence.
“You know why you can enjoy a day at the zoo?” the son of President Donald Trump wrote in an Instagram story on Tuesday night. “Because walls work.”
Trump, who in the past has compared immigrants to a bowl of Skittles in which some of the candies were poisoned, was quickly slammed on social media.
Here’s a sample, including the first from President George W. Bush’s former communications director Nicolle Wallace:

Given Trumpito’s track record with animals, seems to me, he’s got it backward. The fences are to protect the animals from him. —->Donald Trump Jr. Says Border Wall Is Like A Zoo Fence Protecting You From Animals https://t.co/wyaJqepb8s

Can someone break it to @DonaldJTrumpJr that animals have far more decency and integrity than he would've ever dreamed of? https://t.co/NUHU1c3cVS

Dear @DonaldJTrumpJr,
The last time I checked, Mexicans were not animals and you are still apparently a racist piece of crap.
Mueller is coming and I can't wait!

Trump Jr. later deleted the post without comment.
Trump in the past has compared immigrants to a bowl of Skittles. He asserted that some of the candies were poisoned and was almost immediately dragged for those remarks.
Donald Trump has kept the government shut down for 18 days as he demands $5.7 billion in funding for the border wall.
While the Trump Administration has asserted that most of the criminals and drugs are coming from the border, most statistics point toward air travel as the primary method for the influx of such.
