President Trump responded to Iran’s missile retaliation to the assassination of one of its top military leaders — and many viewers wondered what drugs he’d taken.
“Slurring,” “Adderall” and #TrumpSpeech are trending. Sounds like it went really well.

whoever it was that shot Trump up with a bunch of horse tranquilizers or whatever this morning to prevent him from starting WWIII, I salute you

Trump shows strength by slurring half his words

How is he already out of breath? Did he jog there?

You can literally hear him trying to keep his tongue in his mouth.

Trump looks & sounds like he’s overloaded on adderall. He’s sniffing, slurring his words, robotically reading words off teleprompter. His remarks were vapid, rambling, incoherent.
No substance or detail.
Trump’s entrance was staged like a light show. We get cheap theater. https://t.co/e7eWNerk3P— Charles Campisi (@1813Doncarlo) January 8, 2020
It’s pretty bad when I see “Adderall” trending and my first thought is “Oh, right, the ‘president’ gave a speech this morning.”

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, sniffs Adderall like a duck, it’s a duck.
Quack-Quack, Mr. President. Your speech was only notable for how many sniffs.
This has been a horrifying way to usher in the new year, waddling around the duck pond of WWIII.#NoWarWithIran

In fact, one former staffer from The Celebrity Apprentice said Adderall is the answer for Trump’s odd demeanor and phrasing.
“He’s a speed freak,” said Noel Casler, who worked with Trump for six seasons on the reality TV show. “He crushes up his Adderall and he sniffs it because he can’t read and he gets really nervous when he has to read cue cards. I’m not kidding. This is true.”
Casler, who has a good reputation in the entertainment industry, also worked with Trump on Miss Teen Universe for six years.
“I worked on a bunch of those beauty pageants he had in the ’90s,” said Casler. “That was a good idea, Miss Teen Universe? Yeah, that’s like giving Jeffrey Dahmer a cooking show. He would line up the girls on the side of the stage, and he would inspect them. Literally, he would stick his little freaking doll fingers in their mouth and look at their teeth.”
Casler said he had “a 24-page NDA, non-disclosure agreement. I didn’t know then he was becoming president. Now, I don’t care, I’m telling everything.”
Adderall is a combination medication containing four salts of amphetamine.
Adderall is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and narcolepsy.
It is also used as an athletic performance enhancer and cognitive enhancer, and recreationally as an aphrodisiac and euphoriant.
