What’s life look like after playing the devil? What about Bond? James Bond.
That’s one of the possibilities facing Tom Ellis in 2021.
JimHeath.TV has been advocating for Tom to play the iconic spy for over a year, and now Lucifans are taking the lead in getting Hollywood’s attention.
Kristin Harris, at @knight_vision on Twitter, designed an amazing video that you can easily imagine playing in any theater in the world!
It shows Tom in various scenes as Lucifer, which translate so remarkably into Bond.
“It’s a special video montage I made in support of Tom Ellis as the next James Bond,” said Kristin. “He was born for this role and would be absolutely perfect! The footage features Lucifer and Rush.”
The video has racked up nearly 2,000 views on YouTube in its first two hours.

Amazing job Kristin!

And in case you’re wondering if Tom is up for it, he tweeted earlier this year he was in:
Agreed Jim! In fact I agree with everything you say ? https://t.co/0H0pt5Wj0Q

As Lashana Lynch gets set to take over from Daniel Craig as the first female 007 in No Time To Die, a petition to back Tom Ellis for the iconic role is growing.
Traditionalists to the Ian Fleming novels can relax: Lynch is not the new James Bond, but a new character who takes over his secret agent number after he leaves MI6.
So she’s 007, but not Bond. James Bond.
So if she’s not Bond, that leaves the question of who will be the next secret agent very much up in the air.
And that keeps Ellis firmly on the list.
A petition on Change.org backing Ellis is now over 3.3K strong.
Ellis has played the devil with charm and anger and wit for five seasons, so the transition to Bond, with all his action-packed moodiness, should be simple.
His role as the snarky and devilish Lucifer has actually just been a extra long audition for one of the premiere jobs in Hollywood.
Let’s review:
Ellis looks good in Bond suit:
He looks like Bond in a tux:
He looks good like Bond in next-to-nothing:
He looks like Bond with a gun:
He looks like Bond just standing around:
He looks like Bond with the ladies:
He looks like Bond with the guys:
He looks like Bond in…this:
Okay, maybe that last one didn’t help.
But you get the point.
The truth is Ellis combines the studliness of Sean Connery, with the wit of Roger Moore, the ease of Pierce Bronson, and the pissed-off-at-the-world attitude of Daniel Craig.
Make him the seventh Bond and he fits right in.
[My Take: Lucifer Does More To Promote Christianity Than Other Heavenly Shows]
Meanwhile, fans have already created some 007 posters:
In reality, we all love Lucifer – men, women, children and small animals alike.
But playing the devil will soon come to an end.
They could also write an extra episode to lead into the cliffhanger. I don’t think any one of us would complain. We’ve waited longer for season 5 to be shown than any other season. But that’s not their fault. Are we stressed about it? Yes! But are we happy we’re looking at getting a season 6? You betcha! If Netflix, Warner Bros., cast and crew can agree to get more than 10 episodes again in season 6, we would be over joyed!!!
He gets the nod from me ,my wife and my 2 boys for sure.
Ellis can sell the innuendo and double entendre that gave Bond that movie appeal humor that both Sean Connery and Pierce Bronson could pull off. Roger Moore was just reenacting his “Saint” roll, Daniel Craig is too sophisticated. Timothy Dalton was actually pretty good, but he also knew that his days were numbered as he was just holding a spot open until Pierce Bronson was free of his contractual obligation to Remington Steele, which was a television mega hit that was hard to walk away from. Then there was George Lazenby who was dreadful. Then of course there was the outlandish Bond spoof movie in 1967 called Casino Royale which wasn’t part of the 007 Bond Franchise, where David Niven played the role, and well as six other Bond imposters including Peter Sellers. Too funny.
Tom Ellis also has the off screen personality to pull it off as well. Something Daniel Craig who is a right proper gentleman who makes for a dull interview. Don’t get me wrong, Craig is a good actor and brought a new perspective to 007 Bond, but I want the old Bond back. The cocky, non politically correct James Bond.
Tom Ellis has everything to be the next Bond, looks, style, fits role perfectly plus a top class actor forgot the other maybes Tom’s the man
Agreed spot on!
Its clear as crystal he is perfect
So glad to stumble upon this article. This past month, i found the series Lucifer and have binged watched this series. I am now on season 6 and so sad it is going to end. I thought, i could definitely see him as James Bond. Pierce and Craig are my favs, but they could drop down a notch if Lucifer decides to drink a “shaken, not stirred, martini.”
So i vote for Tom for the new Bond.
Spot on for all those great comments of how Tom Ellis fits “crystal clear” the James Bond character his charisma “steals the part from most of those in the running”.. He’s a man man’s while being the swooner women love.
