The Associated Press, not known to make many mistakes, made a small gaffe in one of its stories yesterday that put Twitter into overdrive.

In an article about the Mexican and Brazilian presidents congratulating Joe Biden, the story referred to the president-elect as ‘Jose’ Biden.

Almost immediately the AP issued a correction, which was an amusing read itself:  ‘In a story on December 15, 2020 about the Mexican and Brazilian presidents congratulating U.S. President-elect Joe Biden, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Biden’s first name is Jose. His name is Joe.’
