Lucifer’s Tom Ellis is spending the holidays raising some serious cash for his ‘favorite animal charity.’
Ellis tweeted fans last week, “If you fancy a chat and want to help raise money for my favorite animal charity @KittCrusaders then click the link below!”.

“Even the Devil himself loves cats!” the eBay auction listing reads. “Make sure you have your questions ready for the devilishly handsome Tom Ellis! You’ll have the opportunity to have a one on one conversation with one of the hottest actors and star of the #1 Netflix hit series, Lucifer!”
All proceeds raised will go to Southern California-based nonprofit organization Kitt Crusaders, which focuses on saving cats and kittens from high kill shelters and finding them loving forever homes.
So far, the winning bid is at $3,750.
But the auction lasts until Saturday so it’s likely to rise significantly.

Winner receives a guaranteed minimum 10 minutes on Zoom with Ellis (which “can run longer, should the talent choose to”).
Back in 2017, however, writer Meaghan Oppenheimer, Tom’s wife, said he hated cats.
With a caption on her IG post ‘I WON’ she wrote: ‘I’m considering this an official contract. The cat hater has agreed to get a kitten. It only took 2.5 years of begging.’

The second half of Season 5 of Lucifer is expected to be released on Netflix in the early part of 2021.
Filming for the 6th and final season is underway.
