Recorded from a VHS tape in 1983, the episode is the first showdown finale between evil Stefano DiMera and Roman Brady.
In early 1983 on Days of Our Lives, Brady and Dr. Marlena Evans were married, and over the next few months became embroiled in a storyline with DiMera.
Stefano was a powerful and ruthless business tycoon (and organized crime figure) from Europe who had come to town to set up shop in Salem, and Roman being the city’s top cop had gone after him.
This was the first of many showdowns to come between the characters.
Heath says the first TV show he ever saw was Days of our Lives, watching it with his mother when he was in kindergarten.
