Cindy McCain slammed fellow Republicans yesterday for being hung up on the 2020 presidential election, claiming continued probes into the outcome are ‘ludicrous’.

‘The election is over,’ McCain said in an interview. ‘Biden won. I know many of them don’t like the outcome. But, you know, elections have consequences.’

Her comments come after Donald Trump launched into a rant at his Mar-a-Lago resort Thursday claiming Arizona will be the first state to overturn its election results in his favor.

‘This does not surprise me,’ McCain said of her home state’s recounting efforts. ‘You know, things are just aloof and crazy out there right now in regards to the election.’

Despite being a lifelong Republican, the widow of the late Arizona Senator John McCain has been vocal about her support of Joe Biden – even speaking on his behalf at the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

The Bidens and McCains have been friends for decades.

Some reports indicate Biden could tap McCain as the first Republican to join his administration as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations World Food Program.

‘In whatever way that he sees fit, I would be proud and honored to serve,’ McCain said when asked if she would accept the post if it were offered.

She also noted her history of working to combat human trafficking and human rights violations.

Trump took to a Mar-a-Lago bandstand on Thursday claiming Arizona Republicans will undo the ‘rigged’ 2020 election as the recount in Maricopa County conducted by the Florida company Cyber Ninjas continues.

During the speech, Trump repeated allegations that he only lost to Biden because of widespread election fraud.

No fraud has been found, and Trump’s own Justice Department and Homeland Security officials called 2020 the ‘most secure election in history.’

In other videos posted from the same speech, Trump tells his fans that he would be leaving the Mar-a-Lago club for the summer to move to his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey – and plans to return to southern Florida in October.

Arizona’s recount started last Friday after the state’s Republican-led Senate hired a Florida company to conduct the audit.

Doug Logan, the CEO of Cyber Ninjas, is overseeing the audit despite the company having no experience working elections.

Forbes revealed that Logan has spread outrageous conspiracy theories that a company tied to Hugo Chavez, the long-dead Venezuelan dictator, rigged voting machines against Trump.

The audit, which is expected to conclude May 14, is only looking at votes cast in the presidential and U.S. Senate races, which were won by Democrats.

Anthony Kern, a former member of the Arizona House of Representatives who lost his seat in the election, was pictured by the Arizona Republic taking part in the recount.

The reporter who took the photo was then escorted out of the facility and told his press credentials were revoked for taking the photo, the outlet reported.

Kern was also pictured among a crowd of rioters during the January 6 siege at the U.S. Capitol building and was a vocal advocate for the ‘Stop the Steal’ movement raising concerns about the validity of the recount, Newsweek reported.

The former state lawmaker is also a disgraced police officer who has been placed on the state’s list of cops with credibility issues, known as the Brady list.
