Lucifer Cast Has Episode 1 Script For FINAL Season – Production Starts Next Month

Episode one of the final season of Lucifer is written, printed and has been distributed to cast members according to Lesley-Ann Brandt who plays Maze in the series.

During an interview on South Africa radio earlier this week, Lesley-Ann said she had a script in hand and was looking forward to getting back to work.

Production is scheduled to begin the second week of September.

Netflix has not announced when in 2020 they’ll drop the 16 episodes.

They have also not stated whether the final season will be broken into two parts – spring and fall.

This morning another cast member, Lauren German, also confirmed the news tweeting about the script, “oh, it’s good.”

 

Lauren also gave credit for the first script to the “talented rapscallion Jason Ning.”

Jason is the screen writer for Lucifer.

He previously wrote for The Expanse, The Mystery of Laura, 90210, Perception, Killer Women, Burn Notice and Crossing Jordan.

The Season 5 Lucifer Writing Team.

 

We still don’t know if Episode 1 will be “leaked” prior to the start of the season (this has happened before).

We do know that the Lucifer guests’ audition – the actors who play small roles, usually without lines – will start today.

As JimHeath.TV has reported this summer, showrunners and cast members have teased a number of spoilers in recent months.

Tom Ellis announced at the LA Lucifer Convention last weekend that he wanted to eventually do a Lucifer album, but that the effort faced “several legalities.”

But he hinted there are more musical numbers to come in Season 5, with more cast members singing.

“There is quite likely to be some more material to put on there after this season,” he said. “It might not just be Lucifer’s songs, because we may have some other characters singing.”

That’s exactly what D.B. Woodside also alluded to at the convention.

D.B. also hinted that Lucifer’s top nemesis in the comics, Archangel Michael, could be a part of the S5 story.

“I think a lot of the family has a problem with Michael,” he told the cheering audience.

In the comics, Michael was told to kick his twin brother Lucifer out of heaven.

Michael is written as patient and kind, but not someone who will stand by and watch injustice and evil.

He could be the perfect match for his twin!

Modrovich started a frenzy when she accidentally tweeted out “U” last week:

 

 

She quickly said the “U” was just an accident.

 

 

Ildy then gave fans the initials of the premiere episode of the new outing, asking them to guess what they could stand for.

 

 

Naturally the post was met with a flood of comments as fans tried to guess the title of the unreleased episode, which turned out to be Really Sad Devil Guy.

 

 

The Final Curtain

Last weekend, Tom Ellis paused as he thought ahead to the filming of the shows final scene.

“I can categorically say that I will never have another experience like this,” said Ellis. “When they call cut on the last day, it’s going to be a lot to take in.”

It will be dramatic for all Lucifans for sure.
