President Trump received a warm welcome as he arrived at the Army-Navy game in Philadelphia this afternoon.
The Commander-in-chief took time out from the impending House impeachment vote to enjoy the annual college football game at Lincoln Financial Field.
Trump seemed in a good mood as he met with players in the locker room ahead of the game.

The warm welcome was a stark contrast to the jeers he received when he turned out to watch a World Series baseball game in Washington, DC last month.
Trump was joined the Army-Navy game with Defense Secretary Mark Esper, and the pair appeared somber as they placed their hands across their hearts during the playing of Star Spangled Banner.
However, after, Trump couldn’t help but indulge in some subtle re-election campaigning, donning his trademark red baseball cap emblazoned with his 2020 slogan ‘Keep America Great’.
Other presidents may have chosen a patriotic hat to represent the country, but Trump couldn’t help promoting his own campaign.
Some in the crowd weren’t thrilled with his appearance.
One self-identified Republican and military parent contacted JimHeath.TV to say there were boos and protests when Trump arrived.
“Half our entire section gave him ‘the bird,’ while four protesters with signs were removed from the row ahead of us,” reported Jody, who contacted us from Annapolis. “I’ve never heard a stadium so quiet for a presidential visit before.”
Trump visited both locker rooms before the game’s opening ceremonies began, shaking hands with players and boasting about a new rule he instituted that will allow service academy athletes to pursue professional sports careers before they serve their required stints in the military.
“So you’ll go out and you’ll make a fortune, and after you’re finished with your professional career, you’ll go and you’ll serve,” he said. “And everybody’s thrilled.”
This is Trump’s second time as president attending the annual match between the West Point Black Knights and the Naval Academy Midshipmen.
Good evening Sir. With all duenresoext from.this Republican and military parent, this article is not true. I was there throughout the entire event and surrounding with boo-ing and protesting individuals from both service academies and Philadelphians. Half our entire section unfortunately gave him.”the bird” while 4 protesters with signs were removed from the row ahead of us. I’ve never heard a Stadium SO quiet for a Presidents visit before and the response we did hear was not at all consistent with your tale above.
That’s good to know. We’ll update it with your point of view, and thanks so much for taking the time to comment! -Jim
