Never-before-seen images of Donald Trump taking a tumble as he took part in a beach volleyball game in New York with then-wife Marla in the 1990s have been revealed for the first time.
The now-President of the United States looked relatively youthful in the images snapped by photographer Rossa Cole in the Hamptons nearly a quarter of a century ago, in the summer of 1996.
Trump, who would’ve been 50 at the time, is seen clad in a pair of blue jeans, a white polo-shirt and a baseball cap, while wearing slightly ill-fitting white socks as he bull-dozed around in the sand.
On the opposing side of the net, Trump’s ex-wife Marla Maples is seen sporting a fashionable ensemble of white biker shorts, and a white t-shirt.
Amid his attempts to showcase his athletic prowess, Trump is seen gearing up to land a power shot across the net but instead misses, and crashes down the ground as dozens of spectators watch on.
Despite the soaring July heat, Trump seemingly opted to keep his white tube socks on throughout the contest, though he appeared to later lose one of them in the frenzy.
The event, held for W Magazine and sponsored by Bacardi, took place just three years before Trump and Maples finalized their divorce. The couple have one daughter together, Tiffany Trump.
Trump reportedly helicoptered in from New York City to the Hamptons especially for the event, flying home immediately afterward.
Other celebrity attendees included models Tyson Beckford and Bridget Hall, who also found themselves in the thick of the action.
Photographer Rossa Cole revealed to DailyMail.com how he happened upon this images earlier this week as he was sorting through his archive.

Cole, now 50, said he had been at the event on assignment for a local newspaper when he snapped the images.
Reviewing them for the first time 26 years on brought back a number of memories, he said.
‘I remember it was a very friendly event. There were lots of models there and it was definitely one of those things a lot of people wanted to be at.’
The father-of-two, who lives in Long Island, said he even shared a conversation with Trump in the sand.
‘As the event was sponsored by Bacardi, a lot of people were getting very rum-drunk. I remember mentioning drugs and alcohol to Trump and he replied, “That’s more my brother’s thing.”’
Despite being ‘just another businessman’ at the time, Cole remembers Trump being ‘very boastful and full of himself’ during their interaction.
‘You can kind of see from the photos that he was all about himself even then,’ Cole said. ‘He’s just kind of charging around in the sand, not looking out for others and is just doing his own thing.’
I was contemplating writing…but only bile wretches up. SO not worth my time.
Donald Trump is very aware that people might look for evidence of a 1960s era foot surgery that most believe never happened. It is believed the false claim of a bone spur on his heel was used to dodge the draft. Turns out he didn’t need to worry about it. Trumpers don’t care that he was a draft dodger. The people who didn’t support Trump do care and he will never let his feet be seen for that reason. Have you ever seen anyone else play beach volleyball in their socks?
