It was a scary sight for Ohio State fans as Coach Urban Meyer collapsed on the sidelines during the 4th quarter after a painful headache hit him.

Meyer had spotted an open receiver and was trying to get Dwayne Haskins to throw it there when he stopped.

An Ohio State trainer who was next to Meyer said the coach collapsed grabbing his head in pain.

Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer grabs his head after collapsing on the sidelines.

Dr. Chris Kaeding and trainer Doug Calland administered aide to the coach who stayed on his knee for minutes.

“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Meyer told his staff assistants. “I’ll be okay.”

Meyer did not leave the game, but in a press conference afterwards explained that a massive headache hit him.

“I just have had headaches in the past,” said Meyer. “There was no collision.”

At first, some speculated that Meyer had collided with someone on the sidelines, but he says that is not the case.

With Meyer’s history of health problems, it’s understandable trainers would rush to him at the sight of anything out of the normal going on.

The #3 Buckeyes beat Indiana 49 to 26 to continue their unblemished season.
