It’s really no secret that Lucifer star Tom Ellis loathes Donald Trump, telling fans that the thought of meeting him would be his “personal hell.”
And that’s a pretty big statement coming from the devil.
A fan at the LUX convention in London earlier this year asked Ellis: “What would be your personal hell?”
Without hesitation, Ellis thought of Trump and what he represents to the world.
“It would be opening the door to the White House at the moment wouldn’t it?,” Ellis told the laughing crowd. “Honestly at the moment it would be Donald Trump behind that door.”
After pointing out that Trump won’t be there forever, Tom added, “sorry to get political.”

A fan then yelled to the Lucifer star: “Promise to take care of him.”
Tom, answering in his devil voice responded: “Oh, I will.”
Then he added that one of his daughters finds Trump amusing in another way.
“My youngest daughter is six and thinks it’s absolutely hilarious that he’s named after a fart,” said Ellis to the laughing audience.
The verb to trump has been used extensively across Britain to refer to the breaking of wind.
When a big, disgusting, feculent blast of foul-smelling methane is emitted from someone’s rectum it’s called a trump.
It is especially the case in the North, in Wales and certainly in Norfolk.

Ellis also pointed out how the sign language community has decided to identify Trump.
“I just learned the other week that in sign language, and this is genuinely true, that Donald Trump is this,” Ellis said as he patted his head and lifted his hand as if to display a toupee.

Episode 8, “Trip to Stabby Town,” witnessed Lucifer (Tom Ellis) in a session with his therapist Linda (Rachael Harris) who’s asking Satan a series of questions about hell and its occupants.
“How did you actually torture Hitler in Hell?” Linda asks. “I mean, is his cell next to Idi Amin’s? Or Mussolini’s? Or is there kind of a tyrant wing in Hell?”
Lucifer, initially reluctant to reply, eventually indulges Linda.
“So, we can, You know, talk about Caligula, Stalin, Trump. I mean, I know he’s not dead, but he’s definitely going,” Lucifer says of 45th president.

Ellis has never been a fan of Trump either.

I know you are starved for new things to say about “Lucifer.” I would be happy to bet that Lucifer has a heavily Christian and Catholic audience with a lot of Republican voters. It’s always a shame when actors – and they are just actors – get political. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter.

I really wish celebrities could stay out of politics. I just became a Lucifer fan this summer (never heard of the show before then). My son and I were just talking about visiting a LuciCon or ComiCon for pics and autographs along with wanting to buy some “Straight Outta Hell” merchandise. But I just can’t support an actor/actress who finds it necessary to alienate half their fan base. Honestly, it’s kind of hurtful to see this because I was SO enthralled by him as an actor.

I just had this conversation with my uncle. You can’t support Trump and not support his life choices of adultery, tax fraud, racism, sexism, bigotry, bullying. He literally surrounds himself with criminals and tries to tell everyone he’s never committed a crime. He speaks about people as if they have no feelings. He has people with brown skin scared for their lives. He is horrible and his policies are damaging the hell out of our country. Nevermind the way other countries view him. Just look at how he wants to drill and frac our National Parks. He wants to force women to have babies. He locks children in cages separated from their parents. He hasn’t done anything for this country. He inherited an already rising economy. If you’ve been to business school you’d have learned that the economy is always going to rise and fall, rise and fall. It’s just a matter of fact it falls. I do not believe Trump supporters are “half” of Tom’s fan base. Lucifer is seen around the world, where Trump has a very low approval rating. And a vast majority of his fans support his progressive causes, including donating to Planned Parenthood, as he and his new wife Meaghan, requested prior to their wedding in June.

And just like that…… Not one of my favorite shows any more. There was always something about Tom Ellis that bugged me-almost like he was super arrogant and couldn’t cover it up with acting. I love the writing, the music, and other characters on the show. And the story line is pretty cool. Maybe Tom could form a band with Sebastian Back, Tommy Lee, Nikki Six and Axl Rose. And maybe they could all learn that running your mouth about politics is not a way to build your fan base.
Speaking about politics is every person’s right. Tom, nor you, or me should be told to stop “running our mouths” off..you disagree with him so you insult his character. You know I try to usually keep my opinions to myself. I have always felt really proud to be American. Please remember that Trump did not get the most votes and encouraged a dictator to invade our election system to help him win. Keep in mind he has done nothing to keep them and others from doing the same in 2020. He has kissed the ass of every dictator and alienated those who have been our friends and alies in all these years. The way he has treated the UK,Germany,France I’m embarrassed for the 1st time to be American he has no knowledge of our constitution, or respect for it, we are great as a country because we welcomed all colors, religions and learned how to respect each other.
