Has anyone seen Lucifer?

The hit series wrapped-up the first part of its fifth run back in August, leaving us on a cliffhanger after a face-off between Lucifer, Amenadiel, Michael and Maze.

However, God himself interrupted the fight as he came down to express disapproval at his children brawling, and a fresh teaser shows us the aftermath.

Yesterday, Lucifer’s official social media account shared a fancam of character Chloe Decker, played by Lauren German, which ends with new footage of glass falling following the stoppage in time.

Chloe then asks: “Have you seen Lucifer?”

It comes after the show’s account posted a cryptic message for fans to solve, saying: “No news on 5B but the real news we’ll let you in on is that *** and **** are heading to therapy.”

Fans reckon that they’ve already cracked the code, with many suggesting that ‘God’ and ‘Luci’ will be the ones heading to therapy, while others suggest it is God and his ‘sons’ – perhaps suggesting group therapy.

Speaking of God, star Lesley-Ann Brandt recently teased that her character Maze will come face-to-face with the Almighty in the second half of season five.

“I have a great scene in the back half of the season with Dennis [Haysbert] and it’s incredibly… Well, you get to see my demon face in that scene, I think I can drop that in there!” she said.

Guest stars for Season 5B (which no, does not have a release date yet) include Rob Benedict aka Supernatural‘s own God, as a mercenary who lands in the crosshairs of Chloe and the LAPD, while Friday Night Lights alum Scott Porter will play (in Season 5B and, apparently, Season 6) Carol Corbett, a buttoned-up detective from Dan’s past who joins the LAPD and quickly strikes up a connection with Ella.

Lucifer himself (Tom Ellis) recently revealed that it might be this year: “The second eight episodes, I’m not sure when they’re going to drop because we’ve still got the finale,” he noted.

“We were about halfway through it. So we go back, we start with that, and then we go straight into season six.

“So hopefully that’ll be ready to go, I would imagine, sort of Christmastime or early next year.”

Let’s hope Christmastime…that would be the perfect gift for lucifans!
