Lucifer, like many shows before it, is finding a second life in streaming, and the first promo for the Satan-starring TV show is eager to seize the moment Netflix has provided it.

In the immediate aftermath of the news that Fox had decided to cancel Lucifer in mid-2018, there was uproar across social media.

The hashtag #SaveLucifer quickly started trending worldwide.

In one day it had amassed over one million tweets to the hashtag and continued to pick up speed as fans learned the fate of their beloved show.

The cast, including main star Tom Ellis, soon joined in.

Even Captain Kirk got in on it:

#LuciFans were nothing if not resilient and continued to raise hell and petition for another network to consider renewing the show for a fourth season.

Lucifer was one of several casualties as Fox gutted its scripted shows, but #LuciFans got what they wanted: A fourth season ordered at Netflix after the streamer struck a deal with Warner Brothers television.

It will consist of 10 episodes.

The promo for the upcoming final season is pretty thirsty.

Not that that’s surprising, precisely, what with Lucifer always being a show that enjoyed playfully playing up the sex appeal of the eponymous demonic force.

But now that the show’s on Netflix, well, it has even more room to have some fun with the show’s sexiness.

The promo features stars Lauren German, who plays Chloe Decker on the series, and new cast member Inbar Lavi, who will play original sinner Eve.

They reveal a little bit of information about the series’ fourth season, before Tom Ellis joins in on the fun.

Decked out in a swanky robe and drinking from a mug featuring the Netflix logo, the series’ leading man lets everyone know that the move to the streaming giant will allow the show to go where it never has before… by removing his robe as he walks away.

The promo doesn’t reveal much of anything about the new season, but it’s a well-deserved victory lap for the show and does reveal Inbar Lavi, who will be playing Eve in the new season, who may or may not be the actual, uh, literal Eve from Genesis.

Politicos will remember a favorite episode from 2016 when Lucifer went out of its way to condemn then President-elect Donald Trump.

Episode 8, “Trip to Stabby Town,” witnessed Lucifer (Tom Ellis) in a session with his therapist Linda (Rachael Harris) who’s asking Satan a series of questions about hell and its occupants.

“How did you actually torture Hitler in Hell?” Linda asks. “I mean, is his cell next to Idi Amin’s? Or Mussolini’s? Or is there kind of a tyrant wing in Hell?”

Lucifer, initially reluctant to reply, eventually indulges Linda.

“So, we can, You know, talk about Caligula, Stalin, Trump. I mean, I know he’s not dead, but he’s definitely going,” Lucifer says of 45th president.

Ellis is no personal fan of Trump either.

In 2017 he tweeted: “Unfortunately Trump says lots of things. Most of them stupid. A lot of them ignorant. Like the people who still stand up for him.”

Lucifer Season 4 will premiere on Netflix sometime this year.

The series stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, Lauren German as Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro as Dan Espinoza, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, Rachael Harris as Linda Martin, Graham McTavish as Father Kinley and Inbar Lavi as Eve.
